About Reeds Spring Middle School
Completed in 1964, the Middle School building was originally built for grades 7-12 and remained that way until 1975 when it became the High School, housing grades 9-12. Throughout the years, this building has had several additions. With construction of a new High School in 1997, this former High School became the Middle School, with grades 6-8. In 2003, a new Elementary School was built to accommodate grades 2-4 allowing room at the Intermediate School for the 6th grade. This move left the Middle School in its current format housing 7th and 8th grades. There are currently approximately 350 students in the Middle School.
Thanks to our supportive community and voters, the Reeds Spring School District is in the process of building a new middle school with a projected completion for the 2016-17 school year. The new building will be a state of the art facility designed to promote and support our district’s efforts in preparing students for college and career success.
