District Medication Policy/Guidelines

It is important to familiarize yourself with the District's Medication Policy and Guidelines.

Medication must be brought to the nurse by an adult and the proper paperwork needs to be completed and signed. It is against District Policy for a student to transport medication.  If your child needs to have medication administered during the school day, you will need to bring the medication to school and meet with the nurse to complete the proper paperwork.

If your child has an inhaler or an EpiPen and needs to carry it with them during the school day, please contact the school nurse.  There is specific paperwork that needs to be signed by the physician and the parent.  Your child will not be allowed to carry this medication unless this paperwork is on file.

Please contact the nurse for any questions regarding the medication policy.
