About the Gamers' Club

GAMERS' CLUB HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE DUE TO COVID CONCERNS. MR. PARSONS WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE IF AND WHEN CLUB MEETINGS WILL BE ALLOWED AGAIN. UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, BELOW IS A DESCRIPTION OF THE CLUB:

The Gamers' Club is a place where students of interested in gaming can meet after school twice per month and engage each other in conversation and competition. With this club, students have the opportunity to play games in a controlled and monitored environment.

Participants bring their own games and systems (including mine) in a controlled, monitored environment. Too often, students return home after a long, stressful day to the confines of their homes to play games over the Internet or with a limited friend network at best. As a result, social growth is inhibited due to a lack of connection with students' peers.

Mr. Drew Parsons - Middle School Special Education Teacher

(Also, a waiver form containing Frequently Asked Questions MUST be signed and returned to Mr. Parsons before a student may participate in the club. Waiver forms are available in the front office. One time dues of $15 must also be paid. This money goes towards pizza parties at the ends of semesters as well as various club purchases).
