My 1:1 Pedagogy Statement:

It is my belief that our classrooms are a place where students come to learn how to learn.  My classroom is a student-centered, interactive, collaborative, hub for authentic learning.  I believe that all students can learn when provided strategies and tools that engage them in higher-order thinking.

As a teacher, I will guide my students to become college and career ready.  Students will develop P21 skills, steadily work their way up to more complex tasks and take ownership for their own learning by being active participants in classroom activities and by regularly self-assessing to determine where they are in relation to the learning goals and objectives.  Through the integration of 1:1 technology, students will be fully engaged, building their own knowledge through inquiry, and real-world experiences.
